Proposal

Proposal

The format of this programme will be a studio production; this is because it’s a good way to broadcast a multi-camera show. My chosen idea is a talk show. I would like it to be for teenagers to young adults they will be able to talk about everything. The host of the show will also be quite young therefore they are able to understand where the teenagers are coming from and will also be able to ask questions that are quite relevant to the situations.
The visual style of this would be to have one or two guests on a sofa or arm chairs and also have one presenter who will be questioning them or also speaking to them. The style of the presenter will be similar to Jeremy Kyle or also Jerry Springer; the main difference will be the presenter will not be rude to the guests; they will just have conversations with them because we are not going on there to deal with serious issues.
The equipment that will be needed are, at least two cameras, microphones, speakers and also a control room.
The production roles needed are:
·         Presenter
·         Guest
·         Camera women/Man
·         People in the control room

The design on the set will be similar to many other talk shows, there will be a lot of light shining onto the guests, this will be so the viewers are able to see the guests very easily and it’s also a good way for them to be seen. I would also like there to be a backdrop of just a plain colour so it looks like an empty room rather than on a green screen or a plain black background. There will be a theme tune and there will also be sound effects while waiting for an answer to an interesting question. That is all
The health and safety considerations I will need to take in are people may trip on the wires for the cameras and may also trip up on the cameras. If anyone was to walk into the TV studio while we are recording they might obstruct the equipment.

  1. Good start Nicole! Keep posting regularly, include your roles and responsibilities and what you are doing as you go. You can include images, ideas, as much detail as you can...
